Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analysis the effects of lumbar taping and stretching exercise interventions on trunk range of motion, pressure pain, and lumbar muscle activity during housework washing dishes for chronic low back pain homemakers, and the following conclusions were drawn. First, it was found that lumbar taping and stretching exercise interventions were effective for trunk flexion, extension, left flexion, and right flexion during housework washing dishes for chronic low back pain homemakers. Second, it was found that lumbar taping and stretching exercise interventions were effective for low back tenderness during housework washing dishes for homemakers with chronic low back pain. Third, lumbar taping and stretching exercise interventions were also effective in L3 muscle activity during housework washing dishes for chronic low back pain homemakers. Summarizing the results of this study, it can be seen that simple lumbar taping and stretching exercise interventions were effective in the trunk range of motion, pain, and lumbar muscle activity during housework washing dishes for homemakers with chronic low back pain.
