Abstract

The article aims to analyze the artistic interpretations of the lifestyle of the old-timer group of Russians in Siberia - the “Chaldons” - by writers in the last decades of the 20thcentury, when interest in the “Chaldons” theme noticeably increased in this environment. The author selected those works of art and narratives (published memoirs) that were written by Siberians, local natives of “Chaldonian origin.” The parallel use of feld materials makes it possible to carry out a comparative study, as a result of which conclusions are drawn about the practical identity of the described cultural phenomena in different sources.
