Abstract

This study attempts to examine the conceptualization, measurement of experimental value and narcissistic self-presentation value of outbound tourist, and analyze how these values will affect the proteus effect or addictive travel proneness. The survey samples are the outbound tourists of Koreans(n=318) from convenience sampling. Both review of literatures and empirical study by questionnaire technique are made simultaneously by using of IBM SPSS Statistics 27(i.e., descriptive analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression, t-test, ANOVA). Especially the result shows that the average score of constructs under 20s was experimental value 5.49±1.12, narcissistic self-presentation value 4.82±1.46, proteus effect 4.27±1.62 and addictive travel proneness 4.82±1.44. The result shows that there is a significant difference depending on the demographics and tourism behaviors.
