Abstract

The article presents the results of the analysis of the features and difficulties of the use in the educational process by teachers of educational organizations and university teachers of means and methods of visualization of educational material. Based on a survey of experts, students of general education institutions and universities, an assessment of their attitude to the use of various visual and audiovisual teaching tools in the classroom is given. Based on the results of the analysis, the authors formulated recommendations for improving the practice of using visualization tools and methods in the educational process of general education organizations and universities. They can have a positive effect by increasing the degree of assimilation of knowledge, developing analytical and critical thinking of students, increasing their involvement, motivation and adaptation to study at colleges and universities. All this contributes to improving the quality and effectiveness of education, the development of Russia’s intellectual potential.
