Abstract

Objectives This study aimes o designate evidence for the effective learning strategy at the beginning of the high school credit system in 2025.
Methods The effect factors were checked that were related to the classified group membership of the physics subject preference with 22, 407 of 2nd grades Korean high school students in 2022. The responses of the physics part among the Korean college major interest inventory(KCMII)were used for the study, and latent profile analysis was applied for classifying groups.
Results By the results, the 2-group solution was the most proper way for data. Three factors, which are the prefer-ence for physics activities, physics-related jobs, and gender, were supposed to effect factors to membership. The analysis results showed that activity- preference, and gender were statistically significant without job preference.
Conclusions Through the results, we proposed the necessity that gender and activities should be considered when developing of effective learning strategies such as the variable and capable teaching methods.
