Abstract

The paper is based on the lines of chapter 10 of the novel in verse «Eugene Onegin» by A.S. Pushkin. The circle of reported comments on the work includes the conclusions of interdisciplinary scientific tools. The author involved the works of a number of sciences of a humanitarian nature: national history, historiography, military history, cultural and historical anthropology. At first glance, it would seem that a deeply poetic understanding of the global historical process from Russian-French history has become the key to considering the underlying causes of the victory of Russian weapons in the Patriotic War of 1812.
