Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the pedagogical conditions for preparing future teachers for the diagnosis of substance use among adolescents and young people and for preventive work. The article presents the author's understanding of "prevention", modern approaches to the prevention of the use of psychoactive substances, levels and directions; technologies of preventive work with young people, including the specifics of working with adolescents, high school students and students, the basics of working with a risk group. As a result, the structure and algorithm of the prevention of addictive behavior, as well as the criteria for the effectiveness of preventive work are revealed.
