Abstract

This study was conducted to confirm the effect on the physical function and cognitive function of the elderly by applying a Humanitude Care Dance program twice a week for 6 weeks for men and women aged 65 or older. The experimental groups(n=10) who participated in the program and the control group (n=10) who maintained their usual physical activity levels were examined how muscle strength, endurance, and cognitive function changed before and after. For data processing, the average value (M) and standard deviation (SD) were calculated using the SPSS 23.0 program for Windows. As a result of the study, the elderly''s physical function improvement and cognitive function were higher after performing the program, confirming that this program was effective.
