Abstract

The need to struggle corruption in the defense sector is recognized by government agencies, businesses, and civil society organizations around the world. It is determined that the specifics of this problem, the theoretical and practical complexity of beating it, do not have a single criterion for assessing corruption and generally recognized methods of measuring its level in a particular state. Also, for obvious reasons, the level of corruption in a country cannot be objectively estimated by collecting only empirical data. Today, resolving issues in this field is a gender-driven development of corruption in the defense sector in existing sources that have not been found. Today, the Gender Inequity Index (GII) is widely used to analyze gender development in society. The Gender Inequality Index - a combined indicator that demonstrates the country's achievements in terms of gender equality, one of the key indicators of social development, measures the achievement of countries by three main indicators: reproductive health; civil rights and opportunities; economic activity and opportunities in the labor market. GII is defined in 190 countries. Corruption – is the use of public authority for personal gain, promotion, or prestige, or privileges for a social group or class in a manner that violates the law or standards of high moral conduct. The Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) is an annual ranking of countries by Transparency International since 1995. The index is based on several independent surveys, which include international financial and human rights experts, including from the Asian and African Development Banks, the World Bank and the international organization Freedom House. It can be stated that gender development is likely to bring about positive shifts in curtailing corruption in the defense sector.
