Abstract

The article deals with the problems of ensuring the security of intellectual property objects during customs operations and customs control crossing the customs borders of the Eurasian Economic Union. The identified problems are primarily related to the current geopolitical situation. the essence of which is that due to sanctions, a large number of foreign brands (copyright holders) have left the Russian market. this, in turn, affected the range and quantity of goods that are sold on the Russian market. The order of customs operations and customs control in respect of goods containing intellectual property objects is analyzed, with respect to actions carried out by participants in foreign economic activity and customs authorities in order to ensure the legality of the use of trademarks and other categories of intellectual property objects. Measures are proposed to improve the performance of customs operations and customs control in respect of goods containing intellectual property objects.
