Abstract
Decision-making technology is considered on the example of developing a specialized DSS for developers of information visualization systems. An urgent task is to support the choice of a global illumination method from more than 60 existing ones. The formulation of this problem is based on the analysis of the subject area of global illumination methods and the accepted indicators for their evaluation. The simplest options for organizing a rational solution to the problem are given. The developed DSS is a desktop cross-platform software application based on the AvaloniaUI platform, which can be used as an example of typical solutions to such problems.
