Abstract
본 연구는 실외놀이터가 유아의 지각-운동 및 기본운동능력을 발달시킬 수 있는 매개체로서의 역할을 하고 있는지 기존 실외놀이터 시설의 실태를 분석하고 사회적인 인식을 알아보는데 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 문헌연구와 수정델파이 분석(modified Delphi technique)이 연구방법으로 채택되었으며, 20명의 유아와 실외놀이터에 관한 전문가가 본 연구 델파이 조사에 참여하였다. 현재 실외놀이터에 속한 놀이시설들과 지각-운동 및 기본운동발달과의 관련성을 분석한 결과, 대부분의 실외놀이터 시설들이 지각-운동 영역에서 2개, 기본운동발달 영역에서 2개 요소와는 관련성이 있는 것으로 나타 나였고, 지각-운동 영역에서 4개, 기본운동발달 영역에서 1개 요소와는 관련성이 거의 없거나 매우 적은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 기존에 설계된 놀이터환경에서는 이용자의 다양한 지각-운동 및 기본운동능력들이 발달되기가 어려움이 있음을 알 수 있으며, 이용자를 위한 새로운 관점의 실외놀이터 설계가 필요하다는 제언으로 본 연구를 마무리 하였다,
