Abstract

The article is devoted to the formation and practical activities of non-state
 schools of general education with thorough study of foreign languages
 in Russia in 1990s–2000s. By the example of the «International English
 School» and of some other educational centres, the author shows that the
 linguistic education is one of the most acclaimed and long-term educational
 trends in non-state education.
