Abstract

The article deals with the history of the reception of henri Bergson in the works by Gippius, from the references in the epistolary and diaries of 1907 to the poem Éternité Frémissante written in 1934. Special attention is paid to the function of the poem’s subtitle in the frst edition. Besides, an attempt is made to explain why the second edition of the poem features a dedication «V. S. Varshavs-ky» instead of the subtitle «Plotin-Bergson».
