Abstract

This article features a panel adorned with rock carvings discovered in the Manant Khondii valley within the Ulaankhus soum of Bayan-Olgii province. The panel exhibits a total of 19 discernible engraved figures, with the prominent representation being that of cattle featuring magnificently large, pointed horns. Notably, the plate portrays a distinct and rare image within the Mongolian Altai rock art tradition—a clearly visible line resembling a “road” or “borderline.”
