Abstract

An up-to-date presentation of the factors and criteria for the improvement of open urban spaces within the framework of the concept of integrated development of territories in the context of modern trends in the development of urban planning activities is given. A comparison is made between contemporary needs and possibilities and legislative norms, revealing their insufficiency or inconsistency with new conditions. The necessity of information and legislative developments in this field is justified. The directions for finding automated solutions for the development of a functional model of citywide greening are presented. An approach to modeling an information system for managing the processes of landscaping open urban spaces is proposed
