Abstract

The study is for effect of sling exercise and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation on foot pressure and range of motion for strengthening quadriceps femoris and hamstring in accelerating training after total knee replacement.BR The study of subject is woman 40 enforcing total knee replacement on both of knees in July 2002, getting surgery again (total of two times) from infection on left knee joints in September 2003 and April 2004.BR The exercise was applied with level of not being hard on body and pain by total knee replacement exercise, sling exercise and PNF leg pattern exercise for 3 time a week.BR The study showed with significant differences to pressure rate of left and right side of subject before and after exercise on foot pressure. The measuring angle was increased in range of motion.BR
