Abstract
Today distance and online education is an integral part of our life. The article is devoted to the actual problem of modern education, distance and online learning. The article examines the differences and features of distance and online education at a university during a pandemic. The advantages and disadvantages of organizing distance and online learning were discussed in detail. New information educational technologies are the use of the latest methods and techniques based on the use of computer, audio and video technology. In distance education and online learning, the basic concept of a student can be understood as an activity carried out through interactivity and systematic interaction between student and teacher. It was noted that the creation of a model of distance learning in the university in accordance with the program are effective.
