Abstract

Beekeeping is a promising area of self-employment and it is widely spread in the Volgograd region. However, the development of this activity is hampered by the lack of an established system for selling honey products. To deliver honey to stores, it is necessary to organize a delivery process that take into account all the features of the transported cargo and at the same time minimizes economic costs. The article considers the method of modeling the transportation process of honey products. The optimal type of transport container was determined. Based on the indicators of cargo capacity and underutilized floor area of the truck body, it was selected the rolling stock. Technological schemes for the transportation of honey products from the wholesale warehouse to retail stores in the city of Volgograd were proposed. The total cost of transport time, as well as the cost-effectiveness of technological schemes were determined.
