Abstract

The purpose of this study is to measure and analyze changes in concentration, brain activity and brain stress for male college students at a college by dividing the participants into an experiment group with 18 participants who applied myofascial release massage for 8 weeks and a control group with 14 participants who did not receive the experimental treatment. The results are described below. Concentration showed an increase by 0.84% after 8 weeks of myofascial release massage treatment, and it decreased by 0.59% in the control group, but there was no statistical significance in both groups. Brain activity decreased by 1.60% in the experimental group with myofascial release massage, and by 5.47% in the control group, but there was no statistical significance in both groups. Brain stress decreased by 3.95% in the experimental group with myofascial release massage, and by 3.27% in the control group, but there was no statistical significance in both groups. The above results showed that when the myofascial release massage therapy was applied, the concentration of college students increased, and the degree of brain activity and brain stress were reduced, which had a positive effect.
