Abstract
The article presents the justification for the need to revise anti-extremist and anti-terrorist measures in the context of a changing political situation. The authors analyzed the activity of the legislator in the composition of crimes of extremist and terrorist orientation. An analysis of the methods of extremist and terrorist crime is proposed, and taking into account the transformation of the means of committing these attacks, methods for preventing extremism and terrorism using digital technologies are recommended.
