Abstract

Theaters occupy a special place in the socio-cultural space of the region. Speak-ing about the historical significance of theaters in the artistic and everyday life of Russia and its peoples, it is worth noting the spiritual and moral priorities that form a solid foundation for the development of the Russian statehood. The article shows the role of the activities of the theater «Baikal» in the preservation, representation and revitalization of the richest cultural heritage of Buryatia.
