Abstract
The purpose of his study was to analyze research trends related to early intervention for infants and toddlers through keyword network analysis. To do this, this study investigated the tendency of articles published in domestic journals by year and journal. The research conducted network analysis on the keywords that appeared in studies. Results First, 142 studies related to early intervention for infants and toddlers were published by 2022 since 1993. The largest number of studies were published in the journal of Korean Journal of Early Childhood Special Education. Secondly, the main keywords were identified as ‘infants and toddlers’, ‘disabilities’, ‘early intervention’, ‘developmental delays’, ‘young children’, ‘autism spectrum disorder’ in order of high frequency. The result of keyword network analysis showed that ‘developmental delays’ and ‘autism spectrum disorder’ were identified as important group keywords having high connection centrality. This study’s implications for the research trends of domestic journals related to early intervention with infants and toddlers were examined through keyword network analysis.
