Abstract
Socio-psychological maladaptation is the basis of the internal disadvantage of adolescents, as well as the cause of school failure of students, which determines the particular relevance of studying this phenomenon. The paper presents an analytical review of existing foreign and domestic research and the definition of the concept of “Socio-psychological maladaptation”. Based on theoretical analysis, the main factors in the emergence of socio-psychological maladjustment in adolescents are presented. Current issues and vectors for further research are identified.
