Abstract

The article is devoted to the current problem of prevention of destructive forms of youth activity. Many scientists of various scientific specialties are currently engaged in this topic and a large number of studies have been devoted to this issue. The main purpose of this work is to conduct a systematic analysis of expert assessments of the destructive activity of young people in modern Russia and ways to prevent it. The empirical analysis carried out within the framework of this study includes qualitative data from expert interviews taken in 2021. 10 experts were interviewed, including representatives of state authorities, heads of regional branches of Russian youth public organizations, as well as departments of higher educational institutions, teachers and educators. As a result of the study, it was found that the destructive activity of young people is a significant problem in Russian society. The main factors are socio-economic and informational (dissemination of negative information via the Internet). All structures of the state should be engaged in the prevention of destructive activity of young people: authorities, law enforcement agencies, educational institutions, as well as public organizations. Prevention measures are diverse: from strategic (for example, the development of a national idea) to purely tactical (the work of school psychologists).
