Abstract

Within the framework of the research presented in the article, the satisfaction of households with the main components of the quality of life is analyzed. As part of the study, an analysis of documents (external and internal) was carried out, in particular, orders of the Government of the Russian Federation, the Concept of long-term socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, as well as an analysis of expenditure items in the federal budget for education, medicine, etc. The development of the social sphere of the region was assessed , studied the main directions of financing the social sphere in the region. It was found that representatives from households that belong to low resource groups do not support the social policy pursued by the Government of the Russian Federation to a greater extent than representatives from households that belong to high and medium resource groups. Most of the respondents, regardless oftheir material well-being, blame the Government of the Russian Federation for the worsening socio-economic situation. It was revealed that men, to a greater extent than women, believe that the policy pursued by the Central Bank of Russia affects the quality of life in the region. They found that the richer the respondents, the more they are ready to take part in various activities to reduce poverty. In addition, they found that, in the opinion of a significant part of the respondents, the main socio-economic problems in the Yaroslavl region are associated with the work of the health care system. So, regardless of the level of material well-being and gender characteristics, most of the respondents noted that it is very difficult to get an appointment with a doctor, since everyone is struggling with coronavirus infection. Absolutely all households that belong to poorly resource groups do not have the opportunity to make savings. Approximately one fourth of the respondents of households who belong to the middle resource groups also lack the ability to make savings. A significant part of the respondents who were unemployed do not trust the services hh.ru, Superjob. When looking for a job, they count on the help of relatives and friends. The respondents explained that it is very difficult to rely on the help of the employment center service, since the allowances are paid small, which does not allow them to meet the minimum needs. Measures are proposed to reduce absolute and relative poverty, to reduce the differentiation of the population by income level, to reduce social tension in the labor market of disabled people.
