Abstract

The article tries to describe the semantic potential and specificity of the functioning of the constituents of the aoristic Past Perfect Tense micro-field in the Russian and English languages. The problem of similarities and differences in the Russian and English means of representing this semantics is of particular interest. The research material includes the Russian and English versions of V. V. Nabokov’s works.
