Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of research - the study of morphometric features of chronic gastritis in Mongoloids and Europoids of Khakassia. By method of esophagogastroduodenoscopy with biopsies were examined 127 Europoids and 132 Khakassians in rural areas of Khakassia. All participants were examined by morphological examination of the gastric mucosa. H. pylori were investigated by morphological urease methods, and defines IgG H. pylori and IgG CagA H. pylori .The prevalence of atrophic gastritis prevailed in Europoids compared to Khakassians (in the antrum – 27.6% and 15.2%, p <0.01, on the greater curvature – 26.0% and 13.6% p <0.01). The detection rate of H. pylori was equally high in both populations and fluctuated about 90%. CagA strains of H. pylori were detected in 60.4% of Europoids and 36.5% of Mongoloids (p <0,001). In both populations in patients with CagA strains of H. pylori gastritis activity was higher in comparison with those without CagA. Key words: atrophic gastritis, H. pylori, CagA.
