Памяти академика Н.П. Лаверова: «Идеи устойчивого развития будут определяющими в обществе XXI века»

Abstract

November 27, 2016 died an outstanding Russian scientist, scientific director of the Higher College of rational nature of Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, emeritus professor of Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia, member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Academician Nikolay Pavlovich Laverov. The President of the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry, corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Natalya Tarasova said that it is an irreparable loss for science, for the world natural science. Despite the tremendous burden in public and academic spheres Academician N.P. Laverov considered the work with students of the Institute of Chemistry and Problems of Sustainable Development of Dmitry Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia as important and urgent. He was convinced that on knowledge that students acquire today depends largely the future of our country. Academician N.P. Laverov’s lectures in Mendeleev University always ended with applause: students were fond of their lecturer, not because next to his name was placed plenty of prestigious titles, but because the knowledge that shared Nikolay Pavlovich, were more expensive than all the awards and titles.
