Abstract

The article considers the influence of the confessional factor on the processes of ethno-cultural adaptation and integration of agrarian resettlers from European Russia, who settled in the multi-national environment of Asian Russia. Basing on mass historical and statistical material, the influence of migration flows, primarily agrarian flows, on the formation of the ethnic and confessional structures of the West Siberian population in historical dynamics is examined. The author shows the role and place of the main churches of the Russian Empire in the formation of the ethno-confessional image of the territory under study.
