Abstract
The article presents hitherto unknown letters in Polish by Edward Możejko, a Canadian scholar of Polish origin, to the Bulgarian scholar Petar Dinekov. These letters reveal the professional contacts between the two men in the 1960s when the young Możejko defends his dissertation on a topic in the field of Bulgarian studies at the Jagiellonian University and Dinekov is one of his reviewers. The letters are explored in the context of other documentary sources. The present study is part of a larger project on epistolary heritage testifying the active professional contacts of Dinekov with the Polish cultural intelligentsia.

П. Динеков всъщност е неделима част от неговия архивен фонд 1987К в ЦДА – София. Динеков е бил във връзка, като понякога трудно могат да бъдат разграничени професионалните от личните контакти. Динеков могат да бъдат прочетени документи, свързани с горепосочените личности, убедено твърдя, че техните писма са запазени най-вече в неописаната част на фонда. За да мога да реконструирам събитията, за които се пише в тях, успоредно направих и своите проучвания: в писмата на други адресанти в неописаната част на фонда, които са пряко или косвено свързани с Е. В конкретния случай не разполагаме с писма на Динеков до Можейко – възможно е неговите писма да не са съхранени и никога да не могат да бъдат подложени на сравнение
