Abstract

The article analyzes the Far Eastern plans and ambitions of the State Center of the UNR in exile in the 1930s of the XX century. in the context of the activities of the «Istanbul Platform». Also shown is the process of establishing cooperation with Japanese intelligence or further support from the offi cial Tokyo side of the project of creating the Ukrainian Far Eastern Republic (a buff er state entity and a bridgehead for the deployment of a full-scale struggle on the territory of greater Ukraine occupied by the Soviet authorities for the further acquisition of Ukrainian independence). The scientifi c novelty of the obtained results is that, for the fi rst time in an academic context, an attempt is made to investigate the radicalization of the views and intentions of the UNR SC in exile in the 1930s of the 20th century, a general comparison of the activities of the leaders of the UNR SC in exile and representatives of the «Istanbul Platform» with the leaders and representatives of the OUN and illustrated their parallel movement in the direc-tion of realizing Ukrainian Far Eastern ambitions, establishing cooperation with Japanese intelligence, diplomatic circles of Japan and offi cial Tokyo
