Abstract

By the example of the Donbass region, the article examines a poorly investigated issue of contribution of the Soviet regional tele-radio broadcasting to realization of the state youth policy. For the first time in historiography, the author considers peculiarities of Donbass programs on labour education and professional orientation. After analysing the existing literature and archival materials, the researcher concludes that the local radio and TV programs represented specificity of the region’s staff demand motivating young people for a conscious career choice.
