Abstract

The article describes the work on the development of search and research skills among master’s degree students-lawyers aimed at the analysis, translation and classification of polysemantic vocabulary in a popular scientific professionally significant text in English language classes. Specific examples of excerpts of the original popular scientific text containing polysemantic vocabulary are given. The author presents variants of the translation of polysemantic and desemantized lexical units, carried out with the use of the technique of concretization and on the basis of the context.
