Abstract

In the period 2020-2021, a transversal study of the level of anxiety and heart rate variability (HRV) was conducted in 65 students of both sexes of the second year of the medical Academy. The level of anxiety was determined using an eight-color Lusher test, the level of anxiety obtained with the second color choice was taken into account. The HRV was recorded using the protocol of short recordings with the Poly Spectrum-8 ex device (Neurosoft, Russia). Anxiety in the sample was characterized by Me=3.0, Q1=1.0, Q3=5.0. Statistically significant differences in the level of anxiety associated with the type of heart rate modulation were not found (p=0.739).
