Abstract

The results of measurements of the frequency dependence of the electrical impedance of the composite based on ultrahigh-molecular-weight polyethylene modified with carbon nano-tubes in contact with an electrolyte are presented. The behavior of the active and reactive com-ponents of the impedance, dielectric constant and conductivity in the frequency range from 0.1 Hz to 120 MHz was analyzed. Equivalent electrical circuit that simulate the impedance disper-sion of the polymer composite in contact with an electrolyte were proposed. It was shown that a double electric layer appears at the boundary between the polymer composite and electrolyte lay-er, the electrophysical characteristics of which were determined.
