Abstract
This article examines the historical aspects and the main stages of the formation of cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Russia and Switzerland, describes the current state of Russian-Swiss interaction in the main cultural and humanitarian spheres: in the field of tourism, cultural exchange, scientific and educational sphere, as well as international cultural and humanitarian ties of subnational regions. The author investigates main institutions and organizations of cultural and humanitarian interaction, as well as the contractual framework and inter-parliamentary cooperation.
