Abstract

the article discusses current methods for assessing energy security, based on the results of the analysis of which proposals were made to supplement the existing methodology for assessing the level of energy security in the context of the fuel market. Additions of new indicators that take into account the dynamics of consumption, the situation and volatility of the fuel market in terms of types of motor fuel, the level of availability of filling infrastructure in terms of types of filling stations, as well as components of macroeconomic and budgetary efficiency, etc., which allows identifying deviations and inconsistencies assessment parameters, as well as promptly carry out corrective and preventive actions by management entities at all levels.
