Abstract

Purpose: Carrying out a comprehensive monitoring to assess the technical condition of the reinforced concrete elements of the Nevinnomyssky Canal end outlet, based on the assessment of reliability parameters using non-destructive control methods. Materials and methods. An instrumental examination of the reinforced concrete elements of the end outlet of the Nevinnomyssky Canal, including the inlet and outlet channels, was carried out by the method of assessing the technical condition using non-destructive method devices in order to assess the technical condition and residual resource of hydraulic structures, namely: defor-mation and structures displacement in regards to design position, cracking, destruction of sur-face zones, corrosion and cavitation damage, etc., compliance with the project of the actual conditions of structure operation, the state of landslide areas and areas of coastal reformation, the state of hydromechanical equipment, corrosion of metal parts of equipment, the detection of precipitation, displacement, deformation, stress, roll of elements. Results. A survey of the technical condition of slopes and reinforced concrete elements was carried out. The adjunc-tions of earthworks to concrete structures, the state of temperature-sedimentary seams of con-crete and reinforced concrete structures that could affect the stability of structures were exam-ined. Conclusions. The current state of the end outlet of the Nevinnomyssky Canal indicates the soil slopes reformation during the period of the hydraulic structure operation. It was de-termined that the reinforced concrete structures of the outlet are, in general, in a satisfactory condition and meet their functional purpose. The structures of the first and second compart-ments have already undergone large-scale destruction and have lost part of their bearing ca-pacity and even part of the material, since the first and second compartments are in urgent need of repair. It is necessary to restore the waterproofing of the bottom and sides of the tray at the joints of the compartments and cracks in the bottom by injecting a waterproof sealant into the seams and cracks.
