Abstract

This study is devoted to the study of the potential of modern technologies (information, psychohistorical and cognitive) in the issue of preserving the national mentality, which is recognized as an important element of the national security of a modern state. The purpose of the study is to consider information, psychohistorical and cognitive technologies as an eff ective way to protect the national mentality in the context of ensuring national security. Modern technologies have a high potential for preserving and protecting the national mentality. The article considers three groups of technologies, which, in turn, are specifi ed by separate methods. In the course of the study, it was concluded that in the face of increasing threats to the national mentality, recognized as an integral element of the national security of a modern state, the use of modern technologies can help reduce their negative impact in this area. That is why further study of this issue seems to be very relevant and promising from both scientifi c and applied points of view.
