Abstract

Modern trends of functioning and the development of the system of training staff in physical culture, sports and sports’ management are closely related both to the requirements of the society for specialists in this field and to the rapid development of the sports’ industry as an integrative part of the economy and education of the country. These trends cause the search for effective theoretical and methodological platforms and models to train managerial and academic staff in physical culture and sports. The training of such personnel is a system process, one of the most important substantive components of which is professional and communicative training. The purpose of the article is to develop a strategy for professional and communicative training of managerial and academic staff. The author described the content of the professional and communicative competence of managerial and academic staff in physical culture and sports, defined the components of the professional and communicative competence, determined the specifics of the strategy of professional and communicative training of specialists, identified theoretical and methodological approaches for the research. The main results of the study are an offered strategy for professional and communicative training of managerial and academic staff in physical culture and sports and the road map as a description of the mechanisms for its implementation. The results can be used in the practice of training bachelor and master students in the field of “Management in physical culture and sports.”
