К вопросу о роли Государственной думы в профилактике распространения недостоверной информации в обществе

Abstract

The article examines the role of the State Duma in the fight against the phenomenon of fake news. A brief overview of the most relevant literature on this topic is presented. As a methodological basis, the author chose the comparative-analytical and classification ways of research. The article presents the measures taken by the State Duma to prevent the occurrence and dissemination of false information and the foreign experience in dealing with false information. In conclusion, the author gives arguments in confirming the public danger of fake news and the need to combat them, including at the legislative level.
