Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of career-interrupt women's Parenting Stresses, self-esteem, and family strengths outcomes of women with career interruptions. The subjects of this study were 140 women with career interruption at S City. As for the analysis method, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis were performed using the SPSS22.0 program, and multiple regression analysis was performed on the causal relationship between variables. As a result of the study, Parenting Stresses of career interrupted women on job burnout, it was found that parental pain, a sub-factor of Parenting Stresses, had a negative (-) significant effect on self-esteem. Parenting Stresses of career interrupted women on family strengths, it was found that parental pain factor, a sub-factor of Parenting Stresses, had a negative (-) significant effect on family strengths. This means that the higher the parental pain factor, which is a sub-factor of Parenting Stresses of career disconnection, lowers self-esteem and family strengths. This study is considered to be the basic data for preparing measures to improve the self-esteem and family strengths of women with career interruptions.
