Abstract

The article comprehensively examines the significance and features of examining the medical record of an inpatient in the investigation of iatrogenic crimes. In particular, some theoretical and applied issues of the formation of appropriate medical documentation are disclosed, using the example of the practice of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Nizhny Novgorod region, the actual problems of investigating these forms of delinquent behavior of medical workers, including possible forms of countering the preliminary investigation, are identified. In addition, promising ways of solving and preventing the identified problems are proposed.
