Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of methodological approaches to assessing the effectiveness of state support measures for industry. The authors explore various approaches used in the scientific literature and practical experience to measure the effectiveness of government programs and tools aimed at supporting the industrial sector. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the features and level of centralization of state support. The authors analyze both qualitative and quantitative assessment methods covering such aspects as production growth, innovation, competitiveness and resource efficiency. In addition, the authors draw attention to the advantages and limitations of each approach and offer recommendations for improving the process of evaluating the effectiveness of state support.
