Abstract

The article examines the socio-philosophical and anthropological aspects of the “Russian socialism” national project represented in the ideological heritage of the outstanding Russian thinker A. I. Herzen. For the first time, within the framework of the historical and philosophical analysis, the “Scythian” anthropological type is distinguished in the thinker’s creative work and its interpretation as a subject of the “Russian socialism” civilization project is suggested. Ideological connection of the “Scythian” anthropological figure suggested by Herzen as an analogue of sovereign personality with the “Scythian” tradition in the Russian Neo-narodnik movement is ascertained.
