Abstract

The article examines the features of operation of electric power systems (EPS) with a high share of renewable energy sources (RES), such as solar and wind generation. The problems associated with the integration of RES into the power system, including issues of dynamic stability and reliability, are considered. Modeling of various scenarios of EPS operation with a high level of RES integration was carried out, which allows us to assess the impact of these factors on the stability of the system and propose measures to improve its reliability. The results obtained can be used to develop strategies for effective management of power systems in the context of an increasing share of RES.
