Abstract
The article considers the ways of using the competency-based approach for the implementation of the educational trajectory of the professional competency formation in Master’s students of the specialty “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy” of the faculty of the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technologies in Lviv Polytechnic National University. In particular, the ways of forming the competency-based aspect in the educational trajectory of Master’s students, the use of pedagogical technologies in the educational process, and the interdisciplinarity as indicators of the educational trajectory of Master’s students have been considered. The formation of professional competency of Master’s students takes place in the implementation of a number of pedagogical technologies in the educational process, in particular holding mini-student scientific-educational conferences and forming the technology maps for the personal development of Master’s students. The formation of the educational trajectory in the educational process is associated with an increase in the proportion of the independent work in senior courses, and therefore it is advisable to use effective methods that encourage the individualization and the intensification of the educational process. Using the competency-based approach in the formation of the educational trajectory is aimed primarily at increasing the competitiveness and professional mobility of graduates of higher educational institutions in the labour market, deepening the fundamentalism, strengthening the education practical orientation, ensuring the sequence at all levels of professional education and the continuity in training, which involves, first of all, constant updating of knowledge already after the graduation.
