Abstract

The aspirations of the civil society are aimed at building the rule of law, establishing real democratic values of life, and understanding the importance of the focusing on a tolerance in various spheres of life. Creation the new police force as a service of the state requires to policemen to have a high moral and professional skills, strict discipline, teamwork skills, and to build the effective communications with а head office, colleagues and various categories of citizens. One of the most important professional qualities of a police officer is the general and communicative tolerance as the principle of the correctness and legality in the activity of the law enforcement system. The issue of the formation the communicative tolerance of police officers is a particular importance in the actual realities of a law enforcement rebooting and setting the new standards the professional activity. The purpose of the article is to identify the features of a psychological support the formation the communicative tolerance of the policemen of the National Police of Ukraine using an interactive training tools. Methodology. The methodological basis of our research was the principles of systematic and humanistic approaches; unity of consciousness, behavior and activity; dialectical connection of biological and social, used as separate general scientific and psychodiagnostic methods: questioning, conversation, testing. Scientific novelty. The researches were among the policemen of the National Police of Ukraine, who are trained at the Institute of command staff and advanced training of the National Academy of Internal Affairs. It included psychological diagnostics and analysis of a personal characteristics the communicative tolerance, to construct and conduct the educational classes through the interactive training tools, determining the psychological conditions for improving the effectiveness of the process. The results of diagnostics the level of development the general and communicative tolerance of the NPU’s staff at the beginning the study the special discipline «Tolerance and non-discrimination of the police activity» enables lecturers to increase the effectiveness of studying and ensure the formation professionally important qualities of the police officers, in particular, the communicative tolerance. Conclusions. The communicative tolerance of the police officers of the National Police is an indispensable component of special professional training, contributes to the development of the personality of a professional, acts as a basis for professional skill and is the key to effective law enforcement activities. We consider appropriate introduction discipline «Tolerance and non-discrimination in the work of police officers» in the program of training of cadets of all specialties in higher educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. Addressing the problem of forming the communicative tolerance of police officers requires the use of modern pedagogical forms and methods, which is why interactive teaching tools are fully appropriate. Then scientific researches is the study of psychological and pedagogical features for the activation the formation the communicative tolerance of the policemen of the National Police during the process the basic professional training and in the system of the professional training the staff.
