Abstract

The article deals with administrative, legal and organizational issues of ensuring fire safety of objects of people’s residence. Despite the fact that this category of objects is the most potentially dangerous, the issues of fire safety of the residential sector seem to be virtually completely unsettled in the administrative and legal field, not fully studied in the theoretical sense. It is noted that the fire safety of the residential sector, which is a function of the fire safety system, is not allocated to a separate category, is not designated as the goals of the state policy in the field of fire safety, the issues of state fire supervision in this area do not have signs of consistency, and therefore the administrative and legal regulation of the risk of fires in housing is not actually carried out.
